All the write ups I've read suggest tha AG will bond with only one person.
In you expereince how true is this statement?

If you AG has boned with one person how does it react to your partners?

Thanks
Paul

All AGs have different personalitiys so some may have problems in this
regard. I think in general while a bird may have a closer bond with one
person that does not mean they will be intolerant of other family
members or friends.

Mines is 16, maybe 17 weeks old, and it gives me one reaction when I
approach the cage, and EVERYONE ELSE a completely differnet reaction.

If I approach his cage, he sort of pants and gets excited, clambers to get
to me, and as soon as I open he pops onto my hand.

If anyone else approaches, he always bites them, very quickly in a stabbing
fashion, but without causing the atackee any pain.

Once out the cage, he will happily sit on anyones hand, and let them tickle
and play with him. However, when he is on my arm, he doesn't like strange
faces approaching. People he become accostomed to are fine....

Lovely wee things, I love them!

Gary.

They can change allegiance and prefer someone else such as your partner
over time.
